Our Submissions to the Ministry for the Environment
The Ministry for the Environment are calling for tamariki across Aotearoa to have their say on future climate change action.
Young people are 100% of Aotearoa's future.
They want to hear all our ideas on what the government can do to take-action for our planet. You can make your submissions in any form here - https://consult.environment.govt.nz/climate/a4b2e361/
Today Bubble One created postcards with their ideas, based on all the learning for sustainability they have done across the year. Mrs. Daniel is going to post them. Well done Evelyn, Sofia, Ryan, Charley and Charlie for making your voices heard.
Can you create a submission too?

Our new flower bed
On the weekend my sister, my brother and my dad and I decided to plant a new flower bed in the driveway.
I was putting piles of dirt into the wheelbarrow and my brother was helping too. My sister mixed concrete to put on the floor so my dad can put bricks on the concrete. When we plant the flower bed hopefully bees and birds will come and lots of earthworms will come too. The bees will collect pollen from our flowerbeds and take it to their hive to make the pollen into honey. The rain water can soak into the new flower bed and water the new plants. And hopefully the flowerbed will look pretty. The plants will create more oxygen so we can breathe oxygen into our lungs.
I really enjoyed gardening with my family.
