Home Learning Week Rua Term Wha

Keep having fun and enjoying nature in your bubbles.  Here's this week's learning opportunities ...

Matthew created a whole new garden:

Our new flower bed

On the weekend my sister, my brother and my dad and I decided to plant a new flower bed in the driveway.

I was putting piles of dirt into the wheelbarrow and my brother was helping too. My sister mixed concrete to put  on the floor so my dad can put bricks on the concrete. When we plant the flower bed hopefully bees and birds will come and lots of earthworms will come too. The bees will collect pollen from our flowerbeds and take it to their hive to  make the pollen into honey. The rain water can soak into the new flower bed and water the new plants. And hopefully the flowerbed will look pretty. The plants will create more oxygen so we can breathe oxygen into our lungs.

I really enjoyed gardening with my family.

Matthew

Blake has been growing lots of plants …and plant people! Well done Blake, I can spy a sunflower, swan plant and tomato plant. What a great mix.
