In Room 18 Evie found a weta and bought it to school. We decided to learn more about weta. We read a book, drew a weta & watched videos.
Lastly we went and checked on the weta hotel that was donated three years ago. It was empty, but Mrs Daniel did find a baby weta in a cabbage tree.
Have you found any weta lately? Wetas love dark bushy places.
Wetas do look a bit scary, but they are fascinating creatures. Well done Room 18!
