Today we explored the trees around the kura (school) that have been traditionally used by Maori for Rongoa (medicine).. We found kowhai, harakeke, puriri, koromiko, pohutukawa, titoki and of course kawakawa.
Nature is healing. We spent mindful time forest bathing and creating nature sculptures. Afterwards we all felt more calm, well and ready to learn.
